Boyds & Friends Folkstone Collection Style #2821 Angel Of Love. In Excellent Condition for age.
 
This vintage Charming Angel with big eyes holds a banner which reads “Love Conquers All Things.” Handmade and painted. Edition/pc # 9E/ 2396. Lots of detail in resin made figurine and it is finished in matt colors. The Angel figurine has a gold star band around her brown flowing hair. Her blue gown has cute red with a dab of gold in the center of heart shaped buttons down the front. Also, she has a gold breaded rope around her waist. The blue gown has holly and patches for more interest. The little girl has a star band on her head and in her pocket a big gold star. She is also holding a big gold heart in front of her. There is a black bear claw on the end of the banner.
 
Measurement: 7 1/4 in height, 2 1/2 in width and 2 in depth. The Folkstone Angel Figurine. Retired in 1994. Written at the bottom of the figurine: “No cord or cable can draw so forcibly, or bind so fast, as [love] can do with a single thread.” by Robert Burton from “The Anatomy of Melancholy”. Ready to add to your collection or would make a beautiful gift.
