New, Never Removed from Box. Polynesian Barbie doll is dressed for a traditional celebration called the luau which is known for its great feasts and dancing. Barbie wears a red and white bikini top and traditional “grass” skirt. Traditional in Polynesian culture are the flowers around her neck, called a lei, as well as the floral garland crowning her long dark hair. And in keeping with Polynesian dancing tradition, Barbie is bare foot.
This beautiful doll comes from my personal collection. I have been the one and only owner of this vintage Barbie. Has been safely stored since original purchase. Special Edition. MPC: 12700. This is an investment grade, mint condition Barbie doll.
