1920s Antique Hand Painted Plate from Japan (Nippon). Scenic Cherry Blossom design. In Excellent Vintage Condition; free of chips, cracks, or crazing.

Lavender blue mountains in background. Pale lemon and green edged land up to the river. Looks like a cherry blossom tree to the left in bloom. A lovely landscape scene with water and tree done in soft pastel colors.

The rim is Gilted gold Edge. Measures 5 1/2in diameter. Marked "Hand painted Nippon" on bottom. This style of plate was made from the 1910s-20’s. Nippon translates to Japan. The "Nippon" marking was used from 1891 – 1921. A lovely hand painted plate to add to your antique or landscape collection.
