Through out all of Asia, the Crane has been a symbol of happiness and eternal youth. In Japanese, Chinese, Korean tradition, cranes stand for good fortune and longevity because of their fabled life span of thousand years. Japanese cranes are symbols of Love and Long Life. The crane is called Tancho in Japanese. This would be a beautiful attraction for a dinner party or a nice gift for a collector.
