Like New, Old Store Stock. Vintage 1982 Beatrix Potter Jemima Puddle Duck Hanging Ornament from Schmid.
Hand-painted polished glaze ceramic ornament. Beatrix Potter's "The Tale of Tom Kitten" has storybook characters Jemima Puddle Duck and husband Drake Puddle Duck in it. All of the Schmid ornaments are retired as Schmid & Company closed its doors in 1995.
Shows off vivid colors of the duck’s blue bonnet, rose dotted shawl, yellow feet and bill. Original tag is still attached to the original gold cord of this ornament. Tag and feet are stamped “c FW Co 1982” and has a red Schmid sticker.
Jemima Puddleduck was originally purchased for my former store as part of my Beatrix Potter Schmid collection in 1985. I will also include a gift box to store your ornament in.

This circa 1982 mint ornament is in excellent condition and is considered new as it was never sold. This rare ornament will brighten any child’s holiday tree and would make a great gift for every Beatrix Potter collector.
